Sculpture

Jeff Martin first began playing with sculpture in 2005, when he was asked to transform a log into a totem pole for the Somers Art Fair.

Each year Jeff works with the grade 3 students of Somers primary school to create a work based on their drawings. The resulting work is auctioned at the annual art fair to raise funds for the school.

From this community involvement he has learnt skills that have made it possible to go onto create other works, like the three meter high skipping girl pictured left.
